What Is Sports Massage?
Sports massage is a focused form of massage designed for people whose muscles are regularly challenged by exercise, training, repetitive movement or physically demanding work.
You do not need to be a professional athlete to benefit from a sports massage.
Each session is adapted to your individual needs. Depending on how your body feels, particular attention can be given to areas that feel tight, tired or overworked.
The pressure and techniques are adjusted throughout the session according to your comfort level.
3
Is Sports Massage Right for You?
Sports massage may be a good choice if you train regularly, lead an active lifestyle or have muscles that feel tired and overworked after physical activity.
More Than a Massage for Athletes
Sports massage isn't only for professional athletes.
Whether you regularly go to the gym, run, cycle, play recreational sports or have a physically demanding job, your muscles can become tired, tight and overworked.
Before your session, we'll discuss your activity level, how your body feels and which areas you would like me to focus on.
I then adapt the massage techniques, areas of focus and pressure to your individual needs.
